Welcome to Separated, Divorced, & Widowed
The St. Louis area support groups work in collaboration with these organizations.
Our Commitment
We let it be known that all who approach us will find a warm welcome and understanding! Since 1975, we have been committed to the healing and recovery of those who have experienced separation and divorce. We also realize that people experiencing other sources of pain - whether widowed, never married, or single parents for any reason - may benefit from the programs we offer and the services we provide no matter wether we are18 or 75 years old. Mission Statement:
We are a peer support ministry approved by the Catholic Church to serve separated, divorced and widowed persons of all faiths. We minister to the emotional, spiritual, social and educational needs to those in our groups, empowering them to themselves as human beings loved by God and others.
Vision Goals:
- We provide a safe environment by listening, reaching out, offering compassion and guidance to help restore self-worth to those who seek it.
- We strive to give a sense of hope and belonging within the Church community through prayer opportunities and the deepening of our own spirituality.
- We sponsor social activities to help our members reestablish their trust and self-confidence in building new friendships with other people.
- We are committed to providing ongoing leadership training, workshops, informational speakers within our groups, as well as to the larger Church community and its ministers.
